UGA Dairy SWOT Analysis

The UGA Teaching Dairy is a small dairy farm in Winterville, GA. The dairy milks 100 - 120 cows at any time, with their milk going to the coop Dairy Farmers of America. Student workers make up much of the labor force, which has both its advantages and disadvantages for the farm. Unlike other dairy farms that aim only to make a profit, this farm has to also teach several classes and provide opportunities for students to learn, making it hard to compare it to other dairies. While this dairy has its strengths, it also has some weaknesses that negatively impact the farm's ability to make a profit. In this analysis, I will show you the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that this dairy faces.
